The space
The property is set across three floors, so please bear this in mind when booking if you have young children or members of your group with mobility needs.

Upon arrival you will walk through the immaculately presented front garden and through a bright and modern hallway adorned with underfloor heated flooring, setting the tone for the contemporary elegance that awaits within The Heron's Nest.

Just off the hallway, convenience meets style in the ground floor cloakroom, equipped with a WC, basin, and a mirror, ensuring a practical and well-appointed space.

Moving through the ground floor, the inviting lounge opens to a charming courtyard garden, filling the space with natural light. Stylish wooden shutters complement the black three-seater sofa and two striped armchairs, creating a cosy atmosphere, ideal for curling up with a good book.

A fold-away dining table provides space for up to five guests, and a sleek white console table frames the 50" smart TV which you are welcome to use to login to your preferred streaming service.

The courtyard garden is an ideal spot for a morning coffee, or to enjoy some pre-dinner cocktails in the sunshine.

The modern cottage kitchen features wooden worktops which contrast against white cabinets. You will find an integrated fridge/freezer, gas hob, electric oven, microwave, washer/dryer and a dishwasher.

The breakfast bar with two stools offers a delightful spot for casual meals, and a bonus Krups coffee machine and wine fridge add a touch of luxury to the space.

Moving to the middle floor, you will find two bedrooms and one bathroom.

Bedroom two exudes a nautical feel with white wooden shutters and soft blue tones. A comfortable king-size bed promises a peaceful nights’ sleep. White wooden shutters provide privacy for french doors which lead to a private balcony with bistro seating, providing a perfect retreat for relaxation.

Versatility is key in the smallest bedroom, with custom cupboards cleverly designed to include a single Murphy bed and a hidden workspace. Whether used as a bedroom or an office, this room adapts to your needs. Please let us know in advance of your stay if you would like to use the bed in this room.

The modern family bathroom on the middle floor boasts light and airy white subway tiles, a luxurious freestanding bath with a handheld shower head, WC, basin, and a large mirror. We will provide mini toiletries and towels for use during your stay.

Located on the top floor, the master bedroom features a double bed and exudes contemporary nautical charm. This room comes with an en-suite shower room for added convenience.

There is parking available for one car, accessed via the High Street. If you have a large vehicle, this may be unsuitable as the space is sometimes shared. We offer a free parking permit “clock” for nearby Short Stay and Long Stay Car Parks (5 mins on foot). The permit can also be used at other locations around the New Forest. Please note: if the parking permit is not returned a fee of £200 will be imposed.

Cancellation Policy

  • 14 days notice is required to cancel your booking prior to arrival.
  • This is for all lengths of stay in order to avoid charges.
  • For guest in house 14 days notice is required to shorten or extend their stay/booking.
  • Example: If a guest is checking in on the 17th September then gives notice on the 9th September, then 9 days notice has been given and a charge for5 nights will be applied.
  • All cancellations or extension requests must be made in writing via email.
  • Group Bookings cancellation policy may vary.
