Södermalm offers amazing green areas for young and old. Close by the famous Nytorget with a great park for children to play and adults to relax in the green grass during the warm seasons. 

Another nice walk can be made in the Tantolunden, a big park in the southern parts of Södermalm, lots of bathing possibilities in Tanto if you don´t mind a crowded beach. The island is the definition of urban Stockholm. A hipster revolution has turned this once working-class neighborhood, into a hot-spot for artists, musicians, hip designers, bohemian cafés, edgy shops, and funky restaurants.
