Nearby bus stops make it easy to get anywhere. With mosaic tiling and a lush garden, our local designer has created an elegant yet down-to-earth space. Inside the property you’ll find three bedrooms with double and single beds, a fully equipped kitchen, a washer-dryer, and enough seating for families to enjoy home-cooked meals. Premium amenities include free WiFi, cable TV, high-end toiletries, hotel beds and linens, and a Nespresso machine. Perfect for families on a Jerusalem adventure, this apartment is sure to please visitors of all ages.
With tranquil historic buildings and stunning scenery, the German Colony neighborhood is named for its original founders, the German Templars. This area’s history dates back hundreds of years, reflected by an eclectic mix of architectural styles that includes Ottoman, Swabian, Templar, Art Deco, and Bauhaus. Today’s residents are largely American and British expatriates and affluent Israelis -- you won’t find too many tourists here. You’ll hear a lot of English spoken in this upscale, elegant neighborhood, with landscaped gardens, luxury boutiques, artisan shops, lively streetside cafes, and great restaurants. The city’s most fashionable and high-end shopping is here on Emek Refaim Street. The Park HaMesila, a former train track converted into a 7-kilometer park, is a great place for scenic walking and jogging. Other famous attractions here include the historic Frank House, the Lev Smadar Theater, the Convent of Borromean Sisters, the Templar Cemetery, and the Shalom Hartman Institute. Many consider Jerusalem the holiest city on earth; as such, many religious Jews make their home here, and you should remember that many shops and markets are closed on Saturday in order to observe the Sabbath.
